How is the Food Court for this Resort? Pretty Good! We ate Breakfast here about 5 times and Dinner about three times! On a meal plan it is a good deal! Extra Information! If you are staying at this Resort for a Week and eating Dinner here you should venture across Hour Glass lake via Time Warp Bridge to the Art of Animation Resort and eat at their Food Court at least one time! They had some Good and Different Food!

While I understand the high pricing of the food selections (it's Disney after all), but come on people..... Could you at least try to make the food taste good? I had the Chicken Cavatappi with bread stick...when ordering you get to choose either white or red sauce... I chose the red sauce.. The chicken and sauce had very little taste... We had to wait for the pasta to finish cooking before they made my plate... The chicken and sauce was actually warmer than the noodles... Weird since the pasta had just finished cooking... The food court is pretty crowded day and night..which would be okay if the food was better.... We decided to eat elsewhere for dinner the rest of our stay.... We did unfortunately decide to eat breakfast here the following day...Since we have had the Bounty plater at the All-Star Resorts (and enjoyed it), we figured they couldn't do anything wrong with it here.... Boy were we wrong... First of all instead of the Mickey shaped waffle it came with pancakes (two) and instead of potatoes it came with a substance posing as hash brown casserole... It is also served with bacon, two sausage links, a biscuit and eggs. None of it had much of a taste.... Even salting the heck out of it!

ICK! The hot food here is terrible. It's the worst food court of all the Disney Value Resorts and I will never eat here again. For lunch, I got the kid's meal sloppy joe w/ fries. It also came with a chocolate milk. The chocolate milk was the only good thing about it. The sloppy joe was basically just flavourless ground hamburger meat on a bun. I have no clue where the "sloppy" part was (or if it ever existed). I was really disappointed because I have had the sloppy joe meals at Hollywood Studios and they are really good. I assumed (wrong on my part) that one sloppy joe on Disney Property would be the same as the other. Not the case. The fries were also awful. They were the usual Disney shoestring type fries, but they were completely cold. My husband had the chicken cavatappi and he said it was pretty bad. The pasta was cold (even though we had to wait for it to finish cooking) and the red sauce he chose (rather than the white sauce) looked like canned tomato sauce from a can. It also had a sad, bland, tiny piece of chicken sitting on top of it. We ate here again for breakfast figuring we couldn't go wrong b/c we really enjoy the bounty breakfast at the other Disney Value Resorts. The eggs were cold and flavourless, the bacon wasn't crisp and was mostly fat, they had pancakes rather than the usual Mickey waffle and they were completely flavourless.... I mean, seriously, how hard is it to screw up a pancake (they were also cold, btw). Then there was something they were trying to pass off as hashbrown casserole. So, even though we won't be eating the hot food items in this food court anymore, they do have a good selection of bakery items, fresh fruits (I picked up some bananas from here), desserts like the tie-dye cheesecake, ice cream, and other snacks. They also sell half gallon jugs of milk, cereal, cold beer and wine, various sodas, etc. I was, however, surprised to find they didn't sell ginger ale here like they do at the other Disney Resorts. I have to have my ginger ale, so in the future when staying at the Disney Resort, I'll just bring cans of my own. Also, stay away from the pizza. If you want pizza, Dominoes delivers to this Resort. Not only is it MUCH better, but it is MUCH cheaper! There's plenty of seating here, but it's usually pretty busy, especially in the mornings. So it's usually always load and sometimes it can be challenging to find a table.

We picked up a quick snack from this place in between meals. Little brother had a pepperoni and cheese slices of pizza. He really liked them and said they were good. I had the tye dye cheesecake and it was really good! This place was always packed when we stayed there so we tried to avoid it lol.

Great selection of food, made to order. Plus lots of snacks, drinks and bakery items. Big selection of drinks at the fountain. We're fans .... but we love everything about Pop Century Resort.

We stayed at Disney's Pop Century Motel...ugh I meant "Resort"(nothing resort about it!), for my birthday this past September 2014. During our entire stay my family, friend and myself only ate 2 meals here, breakfast and ONE TIME for dinner....MISTAKE!! Since it was still the end of September in central Florida I decided to go with the create your own yogurt parfait, a hard boiled egg from the à la cart fridges and a bottle of water. The other members of my party chose smaller sized portions of hot breakfasts. My friend went with the kids Mickey waffles, sausage links, fresh fruit and a bottle of water, others had the adult portions of the waffle breakfast which were round waffles that said POP on either side, as well as scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. We all agreed that breakfast was pretty good, so we decide to come and try out an early dinner before heading out to the Magic Kingdom one night...MISTAKE! Not only was the food not up to par with "Disney quick service theme park food?!!", but the adult sized portions were tiny! Your 8 year old could eat an adult sized dinner entree from here and still be hungry!! The food itself(by this I'm talking about the dinner offerings) just wasn't good either, I had a cheeseburger and fries as did my friend, we both agreed that Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafés burgers are way better!! My parents had the pot roast, as soon as I saw it I asked "did you guys order the kids portion?" They both said no. I knew that we were going to have to get dinner again at the Magic Kingdom later on that night bc the Disney "motels" don't have microwaves in the rooms and since the food court is attached to the gift shop you can't get soda refills or use the microwaves after midnight because they have to roll down the gates at the lobby entrance and lock the back doors from the outside to protect the merchandise. The only reason why I gave them 3 stars is because the breakfast was pretty good and they had some healthy options besides just junk food. Plus when we went to pay for our food one day, one of the cast members surprised me and added a FREE(yes you're reading this correctly FREE!)King cupcake and Tie-dye cheesecake to our tray and sang a quick Happy Birthday!:-) Boy am I glad we bought into the Disney Vacation Club!(we actually pay less/use less points to stay at the Grand Floridian, then the Disney "motels"!), but I'll leave that for another review:-).

Let me start by saying I am an avid Yelper and give EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt. Ella and Ariana at the create your own burger station are borderline "special needs". We ordered two fried chicken sandwiches (while there was NO LINE AT ALL) and they cooked one and when it was done looked at me and said" oh we didn't cook the other it's going to be another 7 minutes. There is no line. I was the only person in line. They were standing around talking to each other with four other employees standing right there doing nothing. How they graduated from high school or were hired is beyond me. When I asked if they cooked mine and not my wives, neither answered they just looked at me, whispered to one another, and threw another piece of chicken into the fryer. I asked them if I just stood there waiting 7 minutes for them to cook the two sandwiches that they prepped buns for while they only cooked one. No answer try just stared at me. No "I'm sorry sir". Nothing. Beyond rude and I will sing this from the mountain tops as I have ever felt more insulted in a restaurant atmosphere in my life. I pray their supervisor reads this as we come here often and they are the type of employee that makes minimum wage seem too high. Epic fail having these two work for you. Terrible service. Eat at any station they are not at. Seriously...

I stayed at the Pop Century resort, and this was the food court next to it. Plenty of items to choose from. I especially enjoyed the Mickey waffles, which were located on the left side. It is a kid's meal item, that comes with 2 Mickey's, but you're able to purchase the adult version of 4 Mickey's for a higher price. I like the kid's meal because it comes with turkey bacon, sausage, and a drink.

I stay here mainly for this food court. 7 different stations with all varieties of food. Wonderful Bakery selections.. the cinnamon rolls are delish. 4 separate drink fountains, with both sides. Big, roomy, airy with lots of natural sunlight.. Love sneaking out in the am and grabbing a bun and a coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet, while soaking up the sun. Great food, great quality, great selections. All in all, a great food court.

Even as a basic resort food cafeteria, in a Value Resort to boot we are always very impressed by the quality and choices of food that come of out of this location. That is not to say I would make a special trip to this resort for a meal, but if you are staying at Pop Century be sure to give it a try. Tons of options if you want a full meal or just a snack. The flat breads and great and the bakery items are wonderful!

Food was cold before I could get through the cashiers line. 25 minutes? Seriously. Three people in front of us. There needed to be a meal plan line and a cash line. Every issue was with a meal plan person who had no clue what was going on. Disney, we are never coming back.

One of the best food courts at the value resorts. If you are in need of a quick meal or snack to satisfy all members of your party, this is a great spot. There is a wide variety of food, from Tex Mex to pizza to salads. Breakfast is good too. If you go at peak times, it can be crazy crowded and quite loud, but there is a corner section behind the gift shop that stays pretty quiet. During non-peak times, I have actually gotten a lot of work done whole enjoying some delicious fresh brewed coffee. Getting rid of NesCafe was the best decision Disney has made in a long time.

Institutional food at hostage prices. I have never seen traffic like the traffic in Orlando, I think Disney uses it to discourage people from going off campus to eat.

Pretty crowded in the mornings especially around 7 to 8 am since everyone is trying to great breakfast before they leave for the parks. You can buy some souvenier cups that give you unlimited drinks which are nice to havee. If you are staying for several days I really recommend buying one. There are a few food vendors there that each sell a different type of breakfast, lunch or dinner. For example, one vendor sells the breakfast platter which has eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, 2 sticks of cinnamon toast and a biscut along with some breakfast omletts. While others sell Mickey waffels. I saw once or twice where the employees gather in the middle of the cafeteria and start doing the twist encouraging other people to come and dance with them but I forgot what times they do it. Overall pretty fun atmosphere!

After visiting this hotel many times and of course eating here so many times, I must say that I'm very disappointed with their new menu and prices. They have made so many changes that the menu is no longer kid friendly starting from the new pizza to the American food counter. I even notice that they weigh your fries and the salad bowls are much smaller, now how cheap can that be. Also prices have gone up. The ham & cheese Omelet I had for breakfast I most say it was good but that's about it. Think I'll pass this place next time I visit.
